2012 East Coast Trip: Day 8 - Boston

Friday morning we woke up super early to beat traffic leaving NYC. We drove for about four hours, and arrived in Boston! First, we went on the Samuel Adams brewery tour. Awesome! This was my first and David's second brewery tour. This place is the same brewery you see in the Sam Adams commercials. Most of the beer that is produced at this brewery is sold locally, used for experimenting with new flavors, or used for the brewery tour itself.

Next, we checked in to our hotel and had clam chowder and fish and chips at Legal Sea Foods. A trip to the East Coast is not complete until you have New England clam chowder!

Our hotel was really close to Faneuil Hall and Quincy Market. We walked almost half of the Freedom Trail and then ordered Regina's Pizza for dinner, which had been highly recommended by some friends (thank you Phil and Angela!). The pizzeria is located in the North End, which has a large Italian population. The brick oven pizza has been served there since 1926! It was delicious and we'd happily pass on the recommendation :)

#14 Classico (tomato sauce, pepperoni, artichoke hearts, fresh mushrooms, mozzarella and parmesan cheese)
